XYPEX CONCENTRATE is a cementitious slurry Portland cement concrete, finely graded sand, and active proprietary chemicals that is applied to the pre-saturated exterior of preexisting above and below grade buildings XYPEX CONCENTRATE is used for Reservoirs, Underground Vaults, Secondary Containment Structures, Foundations, Tunnels and Subway Systems, Swimming Pools, and Parking Structures. The reactive chemicals penetrate into the foundation and combine with moisture and hardened concrete elements to produce a catalytic reaction. This reaction creates a non-soluble crystal formation throughout the holes and capillaries tracts of the cement, as well as fissures, permanently closing the tangible and preventing water and other fluids from penetrating from any direction, even under severe hydrostatic pressure. Xypex Concentrate is also available in Dry-Pac form for closing strips at building joints, as well as for repairing leaking cracks, faulty construction joints, and other faults.
