SpecSeal Wrap Strips are elastomeric strips with a high degree of flexibility Flammable cavities in fire-rated flooring, floor/ceiling junctions, and walls can be sealed. Installation is made easier with compact 12 ft (3.7 m) rolls or individually sized strips, squander as little as possible. This product makes use of STI's fast-acting intumescent technology. Expansion that is highly directionalized and sensitive. Rapid growth gives you more options. Burning flammable penetrants require a rapid closing. When temperatures exceed 250?F (121?C), the SpecSeal Wrap malfunctions and the strip quickly expands (intumescens) to produce a thick, extremely insulative char.
