A one-piece, molded rubber, intumescent pad that is designed to install beneath a closet flange, STI Closet Flange Firestop Gasket is a highly effective equipment to firestop an opening The gasket is perforated to delineate removable inserts sized to accommodate various diameters of toilet flanges. This Closet Flange Firestop Gasket provides a labor-friendly method of firestopping the opening efficiently. These gaskets are designed to allow the drain pipe connected to the toilet flange to be properly fire-stopped without the need for a firestop caulk for floor assemblies with plastic/metal pipes. The Firestop Gasket should be stored at a temperature of less than 130_F. Expansion in this gasket begins at a temperature of 320_F. It has no shelf life which makes it easy to use as and when one needs it without worrying about expiration and needs zero maintenance. The Closet Flange Firestop Gasket has been successfully tested by ASTM E814 and CAN/ULC-S115 in one- and two-hour fire-rated floor assemblies.
