R Nova Plus is utilized in conjunction with a polyester reinforcement for fully reinforced liquid membrane applications. It is a hybrid acrylic and urethane resin used in water proofing existing aged modified bitumen & built-up roof membrane roof systems. R Nova Plus is a waterborne, single-component roof coating comprised of a self-crosslinking modified acrylic-polyurethane dispersion. The polymer begins to crosslink upon application and continues to completion as it dries. R Nova Plus is applied to existing roof systems to extend the life of the roof membrane by forming a seamless, flexible and aesthetically pleasing protective covering. During application, Alsan PolyFleece may be embedded into an R Nova Plus roof coating to provide a reinforced waterproof membrane. R Nova Plus resists extreme temperatures and ponded water and the white top coat provides excellent solar resistance and thermal emittance properties to the roof surface.
