Vapor Retarder Primer TA is a blend of bitumen and solvents used on concrete decks and approved primed gypsum board prior to applying Sika's torch-applied vapor retarders. The primer improves the attachment of Sika's torch-applied vapor retarders to the properly prepared and dry concrete surface. It is also used to prime concrete decks prior to the application of hot asphalt for Sika's ply sheets. Use as primer on concrete surfaces and approved primed gypsum board prior to the application of Sika's torch-applied vapor retarders.
