Sikalastic® Primer EPDM is a single component rubber polymer based primer to improve adhesion of Sikalastic liquid applied membranes to flexible EPDM and TPO roofing membranes. Unlike thin primers that run and puddle, the high viscosity formulation promotes uniform coverage on both horizontal and vertical surfaces. Sikalastic® Primer EPDM does not react with atmospheric moisture allowing it to be opened and resealed for use at a later date. Sikalastic® Primer EPDM is used to prime EPDM and TPO roofing membranes to improve adhesion of Sikalastic® RoofPro Systems. It is used for overcoating existing roofing membranes, flashings, penetrations and perimeter terminations. Also used in making repairs or modification to existing roofing systems.
