Flashing Grade is a trowel able or brush able waterborne paste with good adhesion characteristics. When used in conjunction with Sealoflex Fabric, it dries to form a flexible and waterproof membrane ideal for flashing, seaming and crack bridging. It is durable and flexible enough to be used on the vertical seams of metal roofs without fabric Advantages: Excellent filler over rough surfaces Easily applied with brush or trowel Fast drying Excellent ultraviolet resistance Flexible when cured Water-based for easy cleanup Excellent adhesion to wood, metal, stucco, painted surfaces, concrete, brick and other surfaces Excellent low temperature flexibility Uses: To form flashing around penetrations, air handling units, skylights and roof to wall junctions To seal joints and fasteners on metal roofs (Must be used with Sealoflex Fabric for horizontal joints) As a repair product over asphalt based, PVC or acrylic coated roofs
