About this product
R-Guard SureSpan EX® is a an extruded, elastomeric, pre-cured silicone material designed to help create flexible and durable transitions between various types of air and water barriers and the curtainwall, storefront, or window being installed. SureSpan EX® provides a continuous bridge between the window and/or curtainwall openings and the adjacent air and vapor barrier materials. SureSpan EX® is designed for high movement, dynamic joints which are too large to be spanned by R-Guard Joint & Seam Filler or R-Guard FastFlash® SureSpan EX® absorbs thermal movement and windloading stresses. The system spans and seals across irregular window geometries. SureSpan EX® is fully compatible with most window sealants and glazing materials. R-Guard SureSpan EX® is bonded to substrates with R-Guard FastFlash®. SureSpan EX® is supplied in a translucent caution yellow to simplify inspection and quality control.
