About this product

Made from a proprietary waterproofing adhesive compound that is integrated into a nonwoven geotextile fabric, this membrane is coupled with high-density polyethylene (HDPE) Underseal? Blindside? Membrane is used as a waterproofing membrane where vertical, positive-side waterproofing is required, but access to the positive side is impossible due to the soil retention system. In addition to protecting indoor air quality, Blindside Membrane is also a barrier to methane gas and radon gas. The membrane is highly useful in areas where vertical, positive-side waterproofing is required, but access to the positive side is made impossible due to the soil retention system. The toughness adhesive of this membrane eliminates any kind of moisture intrusion into the structure. The membrane is further covered with a removable, silicone-coated release sheet. One-sided wall-forming systems are the best choice for applying this membrane due to the absence of form ties. It should be monitored that the structure is free from any form of debris that could potentially damage the Underseal Blindside Membrane. The membrane can be used in timber lagging systems, steel sheet piling systems, caisson, and short retention systems. The membrane must be kept in a place protected from flames, heat, sparks, cold, and lack of ventilation. It should not be exposed to sunlight for over 30 days.
