FTS 400 (Hempel 890J9) Topcoat is a 100% solids, methacrylate (MMA) resin. FTS 400 is used as a top coat in FTS acrylic flooring systems. FTS 400 is most often applied neat over a Neogard self-leveling (SL) colored quartz or flake as the final coat of the system. It is typically applied in two coats at 15-20 mils/coat. The first coat protects the entire system by locking in broadcast media, while the second coat provides the first line of defense against water, chemicals, UV, and other contaminants. Cures in 60 minutes. Cures at temperatures ranging from -15°F - 100°F. Seamless repair of cracks or expansion and control joints. Applied over Neogard FTS 100. Meets South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) VOC requirements.
