Driwall™ Prefabricated Composite Drain 10/025 is a 0.25-inch, "zig-zag" geometric core, drainage mat designed to eliminate hydrostatic pressure from behind foundation walls, retaining walls, plaza decks, planters, and balconies. The product is produced from an extruded polymer matrix of tangled monofilaments, which are heat-welded at the junctions to form a resilient structure. Driwall™ Prefabricated Composite Drain 10/025 utilizes a non-woven geotextile filter fabric to hold the soil or concrete away from the wall or deck and the core. When using Driwall™ Prefabricated Composite Drain, aggregate for drainage can be eliminated from a construction site. Features: Minimal deflection, and no creep or long term degradation Lightweight and easy to handle Provides a thin profile for tight construction assemblies Applications: Plazas, foundation walls, and planters Balconies Shotcrete or gunnite applications Can be used with a waterproofing membrane on one side Will protect soft membranes Bored rock tunnels with moisture flow Drainage below grade using the Austrian Tunneling Method
