About this product
With our Advanced Bond Technology, Florprufe is the industry's first integrally bonded vapor barrier. Florprufe forms a unique seal to the underside of concrete slabs-on-grade, creating a permanent barrier that minimizes the risk of water vapor from the ground reaching moisture-sensitive floor finishes. Florprufe stops excess water vapor transmission that can result in warping, loss of adhesion, staining, mold and other major defects in flooring and finishes that require costly repairs or replacement. Comprised of a highly durable polyolefin sheet and a specially developed non-tacky adhesive coating, Florprufe develops an integral seal with the liquid concrete as it is poured. It complies with the latest American Concrete Institute (ACI) recommendations that slabs with vapor-sensitive coverings should always have the vapor barrier in direct contact with the slab. Once the concrete is poured, a permanent seal develops between the liquid concrete and the membrane. The Bond Makes the Difference.
