About this product
The Protection Board-HS is a heavy-duty modified bitumen protection board consisting of a medium-weight fiberglass mat with a high-quality SBS (Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene) rubber and asphalt blend. The inorganic fiberglass reinforcement provides high tensile strength, dimensional stability and tear resistance. This elastomeric asphaltic blend lends elasticity and flexibility to the sheet. It is designed to be installed as a protection course in the CCW-500R System and is used to protect the membrane from damage caused by foot traffic and physical abuse from other trades. Typical uses include plaza decks, inverted roofing systems, parking decks with asphalt overlayments and other horizontal surfaces to which waterproofing membranes have been applied.
