About this product
Aluma-Grip 701 is self-adhering flashing provided in rolls of various widths, consisting of a heavy-duty aluminum foil facer completely coated with an asphalt-free butyl adhesive. Rolls are laminated with a disposable, poly release liner, which is removed during installation. Aluma-Grip 701 may be used over most common building materials including plywood, OSB, lumber, steel, aluminum, faced gypsum sheathing, polystyrene foam, concrete and masonry. It is ideal for flashing window and door openings and for use over joints, at angle changes, and at similar interruptions in substrate continuity. Aluma-Grip 701 seals all of these vulnerable areas when used as a component of CCW's Barritech VP, Barritech NP™ and Barriseal™ air barrier systems. Aluma-Grip 701 can also be similarly integrated with mechanically fastened sheet and board stock water-resistant barrier systems.
