The ALBION 640-3 Backer Rod Set is a combo kit with both standard model 640-5 and corner Model 640-6. The backer rod insertion tools are acclaimed to quickly and accurately set polyethylene foam rods in expansion and control joints. The tool is adjustable for placing the rod at any desired depth up to 1" deep without puncturing. The set features smooth plastic wheels that ensure no puncturing of the rod skin is done. The standard model 640-5 includes 4 depth setting wheels for 1/8", 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" wide joints while the corner Model 640-6includes four depth setting wheels for 1/8", 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" wide joints for cove joints. The tamping bladed included in the set is used with a handle threaded especially to hold the bladed and can also hold a standard extension pole that can be availed separately.
