An energy- as well as shock-absorbing lanyard, this 3M Protecta Pro Pack lanyard is a durable and sturdy product providing protection and support in risky areas The lanyard should be used with self-locking snap hooks and carabiners for a safer experience. This 3M Protecta Pro Pack lanyard must exclusively be used with Protecta components and subsystems only. It can be connected with a variety of objects- it can be connected to a D-ring, a tie-back lanyard, to body support, a rope grab, or a self-retracting lifeline. In case of a fall, the lanyard can extend the fall arrest distance up to 42 inches. It must be monitored that the lanyard is protected from exposure to corrosive chemicals, high heat environments, high voltage power lines, explosive or toxic gases, moving machinery and sharp edges, so as to prevent it from any damage. The lanyard must be cleaned with water and a mild detergent solution. The hardware should be wiped off with a clean, dry cloth, and hung to air dry.
