About this product
Rmax Tapered Ultra-Max® is composed of a closed-cell polyisocyanurate (polyiso) foam core bonded to moisture resistant inorganic polymer coated glass mat facers on both sides. This superior mold-resistant thermal insulation board provides a very effective and economical rooftop drainage solution and helps extend the life of all roof assemblies by eliminating ponded water, when properly installed. This tapered insulation is suitable for use in insulated roofing system constructions utilizing built-up roof (BUR), modified bitumen or single ply membranes. It is approved for use in new roofing constructions and limited retrofit/recover roofing constructions over steel, non-combustible ,wood and certain types of nailable roof decks.
