About this product
Lucas #125 Safe-Solve™ is an all-purpose, low-odor, natural solvent cleaner. It's intended for removing tar, asphalt and sealants from equipment and building components including vinyl siding, glass windows and factory finished aluminum trim. Safe-Solve™ is also ideally suited for cleaning tools and equipment. Use to remove asphalt and sealants from hand tools, vehicles, caulking guns and other items. #125 will loosen or dissolve surface contamination while activating the roof surface and the sealant tape to improve the adhesive bond. Safe for use on all types of roofs including TPO, PVC, EPDM, Asphalt and modified bitumen. Asphaltic surfaces will be softened by this product but it will not harm the roof or interfere with tape adhesion when properly applied. With a flash point in excess of +360° F, Safe-Solve™ can be safely used to soak tools overnight prior to cleaning without creating a fire hazard as with mineral spirits or gasoline. Despite its mild odor, Safe-Solve™ has almost twice the solvent power of mineral spirits. Safe for use on hands and skin.
