About this product
The top surface of the product is provided with mineral granules to provide maximum skid resistance as well as an extended exposure time. The rubberized asphalt seals around correctly installed nails on the weathering surface and a split release backing film aids in the easy positioning of sheets to maintain a proper line. Polystick TU P features SealLap, a factory applied adhesive treatment at the product overlap. Each of these patented features provide for greater ease of application as well as improved product performance. Polystick TU P is a homogeneous rubberized asphalt waterproofing underlayment with a polyester mat, and a unique surface designed specifically for use as a tile underlayment for longer-term exposure. Polystick TU P underlayments are manufactured using patented Adeso Dual-Compound Self-Adhesive technology, whereby a polymer modified asphalt compound is applied on the top layer and an aggressive self-adhesive compound is applied on the bottom layer.
