Pacific Polymers Elasto-Deck 5001 Non-Gassing is a waterproofing membrane used with the Elasto-Deck 5000 W.D.A., Elasto-Deck 5000 T.C., Elasto-Deck 5000 X2, Elasto-Deck 5000 P.D.S. and Elasto-Deck 5000 M.R. systems. It must be coated with Elasto-Glaze 6001 AL-HT to achieve UV stability. Features: Flexible Seamless Moisture Cured Polyurethane Uses: The ELASTO-DECK 5001 NON-GASSING is a waterproofing membrane used with the ELASTO-DECK 5000 X2 , ELASTO-DECK 5000 W.D.A. , ELASTO-DECK 5000 T.C. and ELASTO-DECK 5000 M.R. systems. ELASTO-DECK 5001 NON-GASSING may be used to fill minor cracks in concrete, except for expansion joints where the ELASTO-THANE 227/227R or PERMATHANE®SM7108 , a single component polyurethane sealant manufactured by ITW POLYMERS SEALANTS NORTH AMERICA is recommended. This product is recommended for applications which require surface waterproofing, where bitumen extended polyurethane would not be suitable. It must be coated with ELASTO-GLAZE 6001AL-HT to achieve UV stability. Application: ELASTO-DECK 5001 NON-GASSING is applied by notched squeegee followed by back-roll (3/4" - 1" nap roller). ELASTO-DECK 5001 NONGASSING can be sprayed. Airless spray equipment must have a minimum of 30 to 1 ratio. ELASTO-DECK 5001 NON-GASSING has a unique chemistry in that the cure time can be accelerated by adding water. Use jiffy mixing blade and slow speed drill to avoid aerating the pail. Addition of 1/2 - 1 ounce per gallon (7.5 g/liter) will reduce the cure time between 3-4 hours at 77°F (25°C) and 50% R.H. Water must be thoroughly mixed in prior to application. Over mixing can cause film defects.
