About this product
Ultra HT Wind & Water Seal is a self-adhering waterproofing underlayment composed of a white, non-slip cross-laminated polymer film, laminated to a high temperature rubberized aggressive asphalt adhesive. A split release liner protects the adhesive and is removed as the underlayment is installed. Ultra HT adheres aggressively to most clean, dry substrates including metal and plywood. Prime masonry, weathered OSB and aged metal surfaces as necessary to achieve good adhesion. The rubberized asphalt adhesive self-seals around punctures such as nails, screws and staples. This advanced system bonds to the substrate to limit damage caused by water penetration or leaks. Ultra HT is ideal for secondary water resistance.
