About this product
Primebase is a grey-tinted water-based elastomeric coating. This proprietary formulation cures to form a seamless fluid applied roof membrane. Primebase is designed to protect and seal a variety of roof systems and can be used as either a base or surface coating. When the substrate is properly prepared, Primebase can be used on BUR and granulated modified bitumen membranes; this product is also approved over most metal roof systems and PVC single ply. Primebase can be applied to concrete, exterior-grade plywood and most rigid cover boards. Usage to certain substrates may be limited or require additional preparation.
