About this product
This product consists of a resilient, non-woven glass fiber mat, which is permeated and coated with SBS modified bitumen. This sheet is sanded on its top surface while a silicone treated release film, which is easily removed during application, protects its self-adhesive backing. Used primarily for waterproofing purposes under shingled roofs and specifically beneath potential ice dam areas, it can also be installed around vent stacks, dormers, chimneys and other roof-top structures. ArmourGard Ice and Water is also suitable as a vapour control membrane in Commercial Roofing Systems.
