About this product
HE605 - Mineral Surface Underlayment is a tough asphalt and fiberglass sheet with neutral color granules. It is used as a buffer layer underlayment applied mineral side down over nailable decks or irregular substrates to provide a smooth base for a built-up roof system for new and reroofing application. The substrate surface must be smooth enough to prevent puncturing of the buffer layer under normal roof traffic. It is also used effectively for base flashing and parapet wall covering where Monolithic protective and/or reflective coatings are specified.
