Henry 553 MBA Elastomeric Modified Bitumen Adhesive is a fibrated rubberized adhesive with a bonding strength designed specifically for adhering modified bitumen and asphalt coated membranes to properly prepared surfaces. It sets by loss of solvent content through evaporation. Because of its ease of application, economical cost, and strong bonding, it is widely used in application of modified bitumen cap sheets. Features: Exhibits excellent low temperature flexibility Eliminates the hazard of hot kettle fires and torch applications, as well as hot asphalt fumes and odors Does not require red label solvent identification Not for use over solvent-sensitive insulation, with modified bitumen products having polyethylene backing, or with APP modified products; Not for use in VOC restricted areas Apply with brush, squeegee or sprayer
