MetalShield #518 Grey Elastomeric Roof Coating is an economical alternative to a complete metal roofing replacement or a retrofit metal reproofing option. #518 is rubberized polymer, solvent-based roof coatings, designed to provide a highly elastomeric, monolithic, weather and UV resistant protective coating. MetalShield #518 exhibit excellent performance in cold temperatures, with superior elongation, tensile strength and adhesion properties. MetalShield #518 have exceeded 5000 hours of testing in a Weather-O-Meter that resulted in no failures. Upon completion of the prep work and seaming operations, the complete MetalShield Elastomeric Roof Coating System can be applied by roller, or preferably commercial grade spray equipment designed for solvent based coatings in two separate applications.
