SCS1700 silicone sealant is a one-component, acetoxy cure silicone containing a fungicide that is supplied as a paste and upon cure, produces a durable, formed-in-place silicone rubber seal that is mildew and mold resistant. SCS1700 is an excellent candidate to consider the prevention of mildew formation around fixtures in areas such as locker rooms, swimming pool facilities and lavatories. SCS1700 Sanitary sealant starts with waterproof, heat-resistant silicone and goes one step further, adding fungicide as an extra protection. It can perform both inside and out with excellent adhesion and long-term resistance to extreme temperatures and weather. No matter where you use it-swimming pool facilities, locker rooms, bathrooms, or other places prone to mildew-the silicone rubber seal can help protect your project for years.
