ER Systems Fabric Faced Butyl Tape is designed for repair and restoration of EPDM and other single ply membranes with failing or weak seams. ER Systems Fabric Faced Butyl Tape has excellent strength, adhesion and resistance to water. Features: Water resistant Excellent strength Superior adhesion Application: Surfaces must be clean and dry. Single ply membranes should be primed prior to applying the tape. Fabric Faced Butyl Tape should be cut to the desired length. The release liner then is peeled off the back and the tape is pressed into place along the seam. It is the best positioned by hand, exercising care to remove bubbles and wrinkles and achieving a complete bond to the membrane surface.
