Style A Roof Edge flashing protects against water infiltration that results in leaks and rot. DOT Metals® manufactures this type of flashing in 10-foot lengths and different profiles. Not only does roof edge flashing prevent water from blowing under shingles, but a lip along the edge causes water to drip out and away from the structure, instead of directly down the side of the wall or fascia. This helps prevent water damage all the way from the roof to the foundation.
