About this product
Barricade Seam Tape is a thin, strong, white polypropylene film coated with a cold-weather acrylic adhesive system. This system is specially formulated to have excellent performance characteristics at sub-freezing temperatures along with good, quick adhesion for ease in application. Barricade Seam Tape can be used to repair small rips, punctures, or tears in the sheathing or house wrap material. This tape can be applied to corners, joints, sill plates, etc., to improve air tightness. When applied over the seams of the installed house wrap, Barricade Seam Tape is another component that contributes towards a secondary line of defense against exterior moisture penetration of the wall envelope. Using Barricade Seam Tape should result in continuity and assist in creating an effective drainage plane.
