SOPRALAP™ Stick is an SBS-modified bitumen cover strip for use with SOPRASMART® Laminated Board products. SOPRALAP Stick is composed of a proprietary formulation of elastomeric styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS) polymer modified bitumen and is reinforced with tough, dimensionally stable composite polyester/glass fiber reinforcement. The topside is surface with fine mineral aggregate and the underside is surfaced with protective polyolefin release film that is removed during application.
