About this product
Elastoflex SA P Polar Cap is a granule surfaced, self-adhered, SBS modified bitumen low-slope roofing membrane manufactured using patented Adeso® dual-compound self-adhered technology. Designed for colder weather applications, a high quality elastomeric Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene (SBS) modified asphalt compound is applied on the top layer and an aggressive self-adhesive compound is applied on the bottom layer. The high performance reinforced polyester mat provides excellent puncture and tear resistance. When used in conjunction with Elastoflex SA V Polar Base or other approved SA base sheet, Elastoflex SA P Polar Cap provides a cleaner application, improves application speed and removes the need for torches, hot asphalt or bonding adhesives on the job site. The top surface of the Elastoflex SA P Polar Cap membrane has a granular finish available in a variety of colors. The cap sheet features FastLap® for granule free roll ends, as well as SealLap®, a factory applied adhesive treatment at the membrane overlap. Each of these patented features provide for greater ease of application as well as improved long term weathering performance.
