About this product
Elastobase is a Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene (SBS) modified bitumen membrane base sheet. This premium membrane is reinforced with a fiberglass mat which is saturated and then coated with a rubberized asphaltic compound. Elastobase exhibits exceptional waterproofing and weathering physical properties. Both the top and bottom surface of Elastobase are available with either a sand or polyolefin finish. Elastobase is intended for use as a base ply or interply membrane. Elastobase is specially designed to be installed mechanically attached, hot asphalt, heat-welded, or as part of a cold-applied system. When the top of membrane is surfaced with polyolefin, Elastobase can be used as a base sheet in self-adhered systems.
