DynaWeld™ Cap FR features ceramic-coated roofing granules engineered for optimal embedment in the SBS-blend sheet. The SBS rubber and asphalt blend lends elasticity and flexibility to the sheet and contains fire-retardant additives. The ceramic coating promotes excellent long-term adhesion. The fiber glass reinforcement mat offers excellent tensile strength, dimensional stability and withstands differential movement. Because it has no thermal memory less time is needed to relax the sheet, allowing for ease of installation. The polyolefin burn-off film promotes ease of heat welding. The fiber glass mat also has good lay-flat characteristics, contributing to better aesthetics.
