About this product
DynaFlex® is a premium elastomeric, modified bitumen flashing sheet incorporating a flexible, strong, fiber glass/polyester composite mat in a blend of SBS rubber and high quality asphalt. This elastomeric, asphaltic blend product has excellent weathering and elongation recovery properties. The inorganic fiber glass reinforcement, in conjunction with the polyester, provides stability, toughness and flexibility to DynaFlex and resists moisture absorption. The elastomeric-based asphalt in the flashing has full recovery properties after 100% elongation and lends elasticity and flexibility to the product. The covering layer of ceramic coated roofing granules provides durability along with superior resistance to damage from weather. The reinforcement also provides high tensile strength and affords better resistance to the factors which affect flashing performance. White granule products also provide heat reflectance.
