The Elevate PVC Walkway Pad is a reinforced thermoplastic material intended for use as a traffic bearing surface over Elevate PVC and PVC KEE roofing installations. The pad is gray in color or safety yellow to highlight traffic and maintenance pathways. The pad has a textured top surface and a smooth bottom surface for easy welding to Elevate PVC roof membrane. Elevate PVC Walkway Pad (or an acceptable paver) is required at all access points (ladders, hatches, doorways, etc.) on PVC installations, and is recommended in areas where necessary rooftop traffic will occur to help protect the roofing system from damage as follows: As a walkway system on roofs subjected to traffic more frequently than once per month Around rooftop equipment that requires periodic maintenance
