About this product
Channel Venting Base is an oxidized asphalt-coated fiberglass base sheet with granules on the underside of the membrane. There is a slight grid pattern embossed into the granules to further aid in venting of latent moisture in the existing roof system or deck. Channel Venting Base is designed to be mechanically fastened over lightweight concrete roof decks or other surfaces as a base for Elevate roofing systems. The top sanded surface is suitable for installation of additional plies using hot asphalt, Elevate MB Cold Adhesive, or a roofing torch, and is also suitable for the installation of Elevate insulation in foam adhesive.
