CertainTeed Flintlastic GTA-FR CoolStar is a polyester mineral surfaced APP cap sheet with fire retardant additives and reflective CoolStar granules. It is designed for use as a roofing membrane cap sheet in APP modified bitumen roof system assemblies over various types of substrates for both new construction and reroofing installations. Flintlastic GTA-FR CoolStar is intended for torch application only and should not be exposed to adhesives or solvent-based materials. It is suitable for most low slope roof applications and may be used for roof system flashings including wall treatments, base flashings and field flashings. Flintlastic GTA-FR CoolStar meets or exceeds ENERGY STAR requirements.
