Hammer-In Plastic Packer do away with the sleeve and compression sleeve mechanism. They are driven into the drill hole and their tapered shaft is lodged into the drill hole sides. They typically come with a button head fitting which is the recommended standard for this packer type. There are plastic packer types known as bang-in' or hammer-in' packers. The injection pressures of packers of these designs is lower.
