Precision ground cutting edges, held to tight tolerances, ensure consistent performance. The Max Double Cut feeds smoothly and cuts cleanly without surface distortion. A curved cutting edge on the center blade reduces cutting force, and serrations on the cutting edge face easily advance the cut over slick metal surfaces and through seams encountered in round metal duct and stove pipe. A self-starting point on the center blade also makes short work of blind cuts. Large relief grinds on all blades minimize drag. Superior hardened blade edges offer long cutting life. Riveted, head-to-handle compound linkage multiplies hand leverage applied by user. Linkage will not rattle or loosen ever! And an easily adjustable pivot bolt, with nylon locking nut, holds its adjustment securely. This hard-working specialized aviation snip features Euro-styled ergonomic handles. The textured, solid-colored, molded thermoplastic grips and finger stops compliment a narrower handle opening to fit large or small hands. An ambidextrous thumb operated handle latch and easily replaceable compression spring complete this user-friendly design.
