The X-Seal Anchor is a veneer wall anchor that allows the backplate to seal sheathing from air and moisture infiltration while maintaining integrity of the vapor barrier, sheathing and insulation. The pronged legs bridge the sheathing and abut the steel stud, affording independent, positive anchorage. Compression of the sheathing by positive loads is also prevented. The pronged legs are rib-stiffened and oriented closer to each other, enhancing the compressive strength by over 20%.
