FlatWrap HP is a commercial-grade water-resistive barrier (housewrap) with enhanced UV and tear resistance. FlatWrap HP is a perfect complement to Slicker products as the WRB component in a rainscreen wall system. It can also be paired with HydroGap Drainable housewrap as the required secondary layer in stone or stucco applications. FlatWrap® HP Housewrap comes with below features: Premium tri-laminate housewrap provides optimal strength while protecting the water resistant film layer For use with openings up to 1 in when installed with a minimum 1/4 inch rainscreen If not installed with a rainscreen, then opening must not be greater than 1/4 inch Maximum 40% total exposed area Virtually invisible when installed in an open wall assembly Enhanced UV exposure of 6 months Greater tear and wind load resistance for jobs over 40 feet Black substrate cuts down on glare during installation Compatible with all Benjamin Obdyke sill solutions Taping of seams is not required, reducing both material and labor costs Resists damage from surfactants that can compromise other brands of housewrap Ideal water resistive barrier to be used in combination with Home Slicker family of rainscreen products Vapor permeability of 35 perms All black housewrap, no logos or branding
