About this product
Made from lightweight aluminum, it is extremely effective at cutting a variety of materials, including thick laminate shingles, and even some soft metals. The Super Shear cuts steel up to 26 gauge and aluminum up to 20 gauge. It employs a Patented spring-loaded shear tension adjustment that allows the user to adjust the amount of contract pressure between the cutting blades for different materials, less pressure for thin/soft and more pressure for thick/tough. The fence is adjustable to hold shingles for almost any cut. The blades are made from alloy steel and are replaceable. Built in scales measure length and roof pitch angles. The attached bracket and rubber feet provide rooftop stability.
